What sets our installations apart Man Working

At Sloan Lubrication Systems, we take great pride in our field service capabilities. We often talk about our emergency servicepreventative maintenance, and technical support, but one thing we do not talk enough about is our system installations. We recently had a customer ask us, “What is the advantage of having your team do this installation when I can do it myself?” It is an excellent question, and it made us realize that we should spend a little time answering it.

To put it simply, our team elevates lubrication system installations to the level of functional and efficient artwork. When you see the quality of installation you get when our team installs your new system, it is evident that they are masters at what they do and that they take pride in doing good work. Every tube bend is made with precision, every union is spaced perfectly, and all tubing is tightly secured. Our systems are custom engineered for each piece of equipment, and our team takes the time to make sure the fit is perfect, everything is properly aligned, and all components are in a location that enables easy service during annual preventative maintenance.

Keep in mind that form follows function. It is easy to focus on how good our team’s lubrication system installations look, but what is truly important is how well they perform.  Their aesthetic appeal is secondary to their functionality and is actually a result of our excellent engineering and our team’s expertise and dedication.

But it is not just the quality of the work that sets us apart; it is also our ability to do good work quickly and accurately. This means less downtime during installation and a faster return to profit generation.

Beyond all of that, our customers know that our field service crews are just great folks to work with. After a few of our recent installations, we received some positive feedback and we wanted to close this newsletter by sharing some of our customers’ comments with you.

“I would like to take a few minutes to thank your team for the planning, support and installation of the 7 systems. The technicians that worked here with us were the best disciplined and the hardest workers we have supported in quite some time. Please make sure they receive this recognition and please pass along to anyone I may have forgotten or missed. It was such a great experience, we would like to start working to quote the remaining units."

“I wanted to take a moment to compliment Sloan and their superior service. Mike and Trent did a phenomenal job with the projects this year. Their attention to detail is bar none, and I appreciated the fact that they took time to listen to any routing concerns we had while onsite and addressed them accordingly. I can speak for both stations in that everyone is incredibly pleased with the finished product.”

Did You Know:

Do you have problems with terminal check valves failing?
You might be installing them wrong. It is important for the O-rings inside of check valves to have what we call a “wet seat.”  This means that process gas does not contact the O-ring because there is always lubricant present. This can be accomplished in a few ways.  For most applications, simply orienting them so they face up is enough, other times a gas trap is necessary. Check out our product page for more information
