Sloan Lubrication Systems first introduced our revolutionary TriCip lubrication system a few years ago. Since then, we have installed hundreds of units across America’s natural gas pipeline systems – helping our customers save tens of thousands of gallons of compressor lubricant. Without our TriCip system, this lubricant would have been wasted in the pipelines, causing liquids contamination and leading to reduced ow and e ciency, fouled lters and metering stations, compressor valve failures, and increased pigging requirements. In addition to reducing these costly problems, TriCip also helps compressor operators reduce their carbon footprint.

Save money and reduce your carbon footprint with TriCip

How does TriCip do all this?

TriCip combines a state-of-the-art lubricant delivery system with a proprietary lubricant and advanced monitoring and controls to enable up to a 90% reduction in the lubricant required for compressor cylinder operation. Some of the primary benets our customers experience after installing TriCip range from improved reliability and ease of operation, to reduced operating costs, reduced pipeline contamination, and reduced carbon emissions.

For even greater reductions in lubricant consumed by compressor operations, customers can combine TriCip with our Oil Recovery System, which collects and cleans the oil that gathers in the compressor distance piece for re-use in the compressor crankcase.

Sloan Lubrication Systems has been focused on reducing the amount of lubricant compressor operators use for decades. In fact, we have become known as the industry’s “lube reduction experts”, and it is a responsibility we do not take lightly. At Sloan, we’ve made it our mission to solve the pervasive problem of over lubrication in our industry.

TriCip

We know exactly how much lubricant it takes to guarantee reliable compressor operations and truly believe that reducing lubricant consumption is the best solution for our customers, their critical equipment, and the environment. Lubricant is expensive to purchase, even more expensive to remove, and each gallon consumed negatively contributes to a company’s carbon footprint.

Many of our customers are looking for ways to reduce their impact on the environment and the TriCip is a proven solution for helping them reach their environmental goals. You can find out more by reading the Technical Paper we presented at last year’s Gas Machinery Conference.

Did You Know?

We are presenting two short courses at this year’s Gas Machinery Conference. On Tuesday, October 3, at 8:00 am, Matt McCarthy is presenting a course on the operation and maintenance of force feed lubrication systems, and on Wednesday October 4, at 2:45 pm, Eric and Brian Sloan will be presenting a course on the challenges and benets of implementing an ESG plan in a small business. Don’t miss it.
